Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. from an HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field.


Experience:15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
OR
10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
Publications: 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.

 

Qualification: PhD Degree/ Terminal Qualification in the relevant field (from an HEC recognized Institution).
Experience: 11-years Post-PhD or minimum of 7-years of post-PhD experience along with at least 12 years of experience prior to the PhD. (The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/research in a HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization)
Publications: 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in HEC Journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission, i.e. research papers published in Journals that fall under the category W, X and Y for Social Sciences while for Science disciplines papers published in only W category (Impact Factor) Journals.

Experience:
a.15-years teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post- graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization

 10-years post PhD level experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post- graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
b. 17-years teaching/ research experience (with at least 8-years’ experience after Master’s degree (foreign) or M.Phil or equivalent degree in HEC recognized University or a Post- graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Publications: Outstanding and substantial level of professional art activity and a national or international contribution to the development of Arts and Design in general. (Demonstrated by at least 8 exhibitions at national or international level with two or more than two new works in each exhibition or evidence of equal number of visual communication campaigns designed and published or equivalent work in any other discipline of Arts and Design as specified in the research criteria).

Strong communication skills in English are required.

14 years of education from an HEC recognized university, preference will be given to candidates with higher qualification in the field of Computer Science/Management Sciences/Social Sciences.
Experience
Five years office experience in Education Department, preference will be given to candidates having maximum QEC experience. High proficiency in use of professional computer packages is essential.

CONDITIONS:

  1. Interested applicants are required to apply online through University website (www.fjwu.edu.pk) and MUST also submit the application form in hard form along with required documents.
  2. For Professors three copies  of the applications/dossiers duly bound  on the prescribed proforma along with attested documents  (i) Degrees/Certificates/Transcripts  (ii)  experience certificates  (iii) publications  (iv) CNIC  (v) Domicile (vi)  2-recent photographs, with a Pay order, Bank Draft  or  paid  challan of Rs.1500/-  (non-refundable) in favour of Treasurer, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi should reach the Registrar, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. The candidates should also submit a soft copy of dossier in PDF form (CD/DVD) along with the hard copies of the dossier.
  3. Candidates applying for administrative post should submit One set on the prescribed proforma along with attested documents  (i) Degrees/Certificates/Transcripts  (ii)  experience certificates  (iv) CNIC  (v) Domicile (vi)  2-recent photographs, fully bound with a Pay order, Bank Draft  or  paid  challan of Rs. 1000/-  (non-refundable) in favour of Treasurer, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi.
  4. Applications from abroad may be sent along-with US $ 100 as application fee.
  5. Candidates applying under both systems (BPS/TTS) should submit separate applications along with complete documents together with required Pay order, Bank Draft etc.  for each application.
  6. Candidates above 55 years of age are not eligible to apply on TTS.
  7. Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by HEC.
  8. Applicants already working in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present employer; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained. However, the University may entertain advance copies.
  9. The University reserves the rights to increase/decrease the number of posts, not fill any post, withhold the appointment against any advertised post or accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
  10. The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of Courier Service/Post Office/ Telephone Message.
  11. The candidates applying for the posts must enlist the attached documents with signatures.
  12. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview and No TA/DA will be paid for interviews. (Decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases).
  13. The final selection of the candidates on TTS would be subject to the endorsement of appointments by HEC.
  14. 5% quota has been reserved for employment of minorities and 3% for disabled persons.
  15. Those who have previously applied for a position should apply afresh.

Applicants who apply for TTS appointments are required to prepare a comprehensive application dossier that may include letters of reference from his/her PhD Supervisor as well as other eminent researchers in his/her area of specializations and all publications in referred recognized journals by the HEC.

Last Date for Submission of Applications: Application on prescribed form complete in all respects should reach the Registrar Office by February 19, 2018
