Lecture on Unity Realistic Character by Haseena Moin at FJWU

Department of Communication & Media Studies in collaboration with Center of Communication programs Pakistan a sister organization of John Hopkins University; Baltimore organized a guest lecture of Ms. Haseena Moin on May 12, 2017 at Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi. This event focused on creative writing and techniques for Television Dramas.

Dr. Ahlam Assistant professor of the Communication & Media Studies gave a warm welcome to the Chief Guest Ms. Haseena Moin the Pakistani dramatist, playwright and script writer, and guest of honor Mrs Farkhanda Shaheen Producer, Director and Retired General Manager PTV.

While briefing the students about script writing, Ms. Haseena Moin shared some techniques about script writing and gave them tips of Unity scripts that are close to reality and depict the world with its real problems and beauty. She also explained how to create awareness about social realistic issues, through the medium of television and how to write for the visual medium.

She also shared her golden experience with the students and advised them to love their country, tradition, and try to promote it in your writings.

A large number of Faculty, staff and students were present in the lecture that was followed by a long interesting question answer session. In the end the university souvenir was also presented to the honorable guest as a token of appreciation.
