 Age:21-35 years MS or M. Phil. (first class) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission. Note: An applicant having third division in the academic career shall not be eligible, however, such applicant having the degree of Ph.D. in the relevant field and has not more than one third division in the entire academic career shall be eligible for the post.

CONDITIONS:

  1. Interested applicants are required to apply online through University website (http://jobs.fjwu.edu.pk) and MUST also submit the hard copy of the application form along with required documents.
  2. The applicants who have already applied for the post of Assistant Professor (Biotechnology) need not to apply again. However, they can submit fresh / updated CV.
  3. Three copies of the application dossiers duly bound on the prescribed proforma along with detailed CV and Personal Statement (upto 2000 words)(covering aim, suitability for the job and  future  targets)  and attested documents (i) Degrees/Certificates/Transcripts (ii) experience certificates (iii) publications (if any)(iv) CNIC (v) Domicile (vi) 2-recent photographs, with a Pay order, Bank Draft or paid challan of Rs._2000/- (non-refundable) in favour of Treasurer, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi should reach the Registrar Office, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi.

  4. Candidates should also submit a soft copy of dossier in PDF form (CD/DVD) along with the hard copies of the dossier.
  5. Applications from abroad may be sent along-with US $ 300 as application fee.
  6. Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by HEC.
  7. Applicants already working in Government/Semi-Government organizations/ Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present employer; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained. However, the University may entertain advance copies.
  8. The University reserves the rights to increase/decrease the number of posts, not fill any post, withhold/withdraw the appointment against any advertised post or accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
  9. The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of Courier Service/Post Office/ Telephone Message.
  10. The candidates applying for the posts must enlist the attached documents with signatures.
  11. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview and No TA/DA will be paid for interviews. (Decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases).
  12. Age relaxation will be given as admissible under the rules/policy of Government of the Punjab.
  13. 5% quota has been reserved for employment of minorities and 3% for disabled persons.

  16. Documents are incomplete.
  17. To provide no inquiry pending certificate from current organization / institution, and from previous employer / organization (if currently left the previous job).
  18. Dismissed/terminated from the service or penalized contrary to the service(s) by any of the University/Government Department/ Autonomous body and semi government are not eligible for aforementioned posts.
  19. In case any information provided by the candidate in his/her application form is found to be incorrect or false at any stage, he/she shall be disqualified and action will be taken as per rules.
  20. Last Date for Submission of Applications:  Application on prescribed form complete in all respects should reach/submit to the Registrar Office by June 26, 2023.

  1. Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi reserves the right to shortlist the candidates, increase or decrease number of posts and not to fill/withdraw any advertised post/ withhold the appointment against any post, without assigning any reason thereof.
