The Department of Economics, Fatima Jinnah Women University is organizing its Sixth Bi-Annual Workshop on 'The Philosophy and Techniques for Quantitative Research' on May 16, 2023.
This workshop will orient the participants with advance tools of bibliographic mapping which is essential for not only conceiving the ideas for quality research but also to position their work in contemporary settings. Needless to say that quality of research cannot be promised without giving due emphasis to the ethical considerations, which is another session of the workshop. With the explosion of artificial intelligence language models, it has become increasingly difficult not only to augment originality in research but also to comply for research ethics vigilantly. In this regard, this workshop provides the guide on conducting research where artificial intelligence can be used in efficient manner without the loss of research integrity. The workshop is especially useful for research students, faculty, staff and practitioners.
