FJWU achieve 3rd position in regional finals of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2019
Team from Department of Computer Science, Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi achieved 3rd position in regional finals of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2019. HEC and Microsoft jointly sponsored the event where 306 teams from all over Pakistan presented their innovative projects to multiple panels of judges in different regions. 48 teams were selected for the final round in Islamabad. All the project pitches were broadcasted live on EduTV.
The team members were Ms. Nayab Mishal and Ms. Mazia Mubeen from BCS final semester under supervision of Dr. Nargis Bibi.
Shafqat Mahmood, Federal Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training was chief guest of the ceremony, which was attended by Dr. Tariq Banuri, Chairman HEC, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Muhammad Asghar, Executive Director HEC, Abid Zaidi, Country Manager, Microsoft, Vice Chancellors and a large number of students from different universities.
