Selected students will receive financial support and enroll in the master's program in Climate Change and Society ( https://ccs.sciences.ncsu.edu/ ), and depending on their interest and progress, this may lead to them enrolling in a doctoral program in MEAS. The students will be co-advised by Pakistani and US scientists and involved in developing a Pakistani Women University Climate Change Consortium (PWUCCC). The selected students will travel with Pakistani scientists to the US in August 2023 to be involved in workshops throughout North Carolina, which will give them an introduction to the US academic environment before they start studying full-time at MEAS. Funding includes travel to the US and back, tuition, and a stipend covering accommodation and living costs commensurate with graduate student stipends in the College of Sciences at NCSU.

We invite current or recently graduated students/professionals who hold a bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or an allied discipline (or are currently enrolled graduate students) at/from LCWU, FJWU, and SBKWU to apply for this opportunity.
