FJWU Organized Entrepreneurship Fair 2019

Rawalpindi - continuous the previous year's traditions of successful entrepreneurship fair, this year once again Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) organized three day entrepreneurship fair at FJWU.

Chief Guest of the event was former minister of AJK Miss Farzana, she appreciated the student’s efforts and she also elaborated that FJWU was playing very important role to train young women entrepreneur.

At the occasion Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Samina Amin Qadir said that it is remarkable ideas in the fair also she added FJWU will keep providing such platforms to young women entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and business idea. The basic cause of fair was to motivate the students and young business women of twin cities for establishment of their business and how they can become successful entrepreneurs.

The event was taken place within the framework of Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Framework and run by Fatima Jinnah Entrepreneurship Society (YES). A large gathering of FJWU alumni, community partners, academics institutes, chambers, students, women and children attended the event. In the fair products and services included personality assessment, wooden crockery, painting, sketch art, photography, color carnival, clothing, jewelry, handicrafts and food items were displayed.

ORIC-FJWEDC organized entrepreneurial activities too, prior to entrepreneurship fair which conduct motivational talks by successful students led startup, panel talks on existing business development support network and In-house business ideas competitions. Three day entrepreneurship fair was to bring a lot of activities that includes the launching of FJWU startups and the Business Expo. Excitingly more than 80 businesses have shown their products and services.
