FJWU Students Display Their Art Works

RAWALPINDI- Department of Fine Arts Students, Fatima Jinnah Women University has exhibited their creative and innovative art work in the art exhibition 2019.The display of exhibition 2019 was a magnificent show of creativity, innovation and professional approach of the Fine Arts students.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Samina Amin Qadir (FJWU) inaugurated the exhibition and applauding the efforts of the students, said that “the work of students was displayed using different mediums and in different areas of Fine Arts. The work was good and its presentation was exceptional. Also said such exhibitions fostered human creativity also she shows her interest in most of displayed painting and other art works. She appreciated the efforts of the students and said that the efforts of the students are remarkable and outlook is very unique and diverse. University aims at providing its students market oriented skills through practical work beside the theoretical part of any course, she added.

Guest of Honor was Syed Jamal Shah Director PNCA Islamabad, visited the exhibition and encouraged students for their fantastic work and appreciates the efforts of students and wishes them good luck for their bright future.

In exhibition 52 students of Master and Bachelor Program took part to proof their flair and diverse artistic approach. Art pieces in different disciplines including Textiles Design, Print Making, Oil Painting, Graphic Designing, Miniature Painting and Photography were displayed. The art work displayed in the exhibition was very distinctive and full of expressions as the young artistic souls tried to translate their emotions and ideas through their fabulous work.

HOD’s, Dean’s, Faculty members and students also attended the inauguration ceremony. At the end Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Samina Amin Qadir presented souvenir to respected Guest of Honor Syed Jamal Shah.
