FJWU Organized Human rights through Cinematography Film Festival Event with Collaboration of PODA

Rawalpindi: (    ) Student Affair Department, Fatima Jinnah Women University Organized human rights through Cinematography Film Festival event with Collaboration of PODA on December 10th 2018.

This event was a celebration of 70th Anniversary of human rights declaration on this occasion documentary with the name of “The Girl Who Saved My Life” was screened for students & faculty members. Chief Guest of the event was Sweden ambassador H. E Ms. Ingrid Johansson, she said FJWU is an institution for promoting gender rights specially for women rights. Also said human rights means in our daily lives;   engage broad audience across  the world and mobilize people for human rights; and reflect on progress and challenges, and ways that each of us can stand up for human rights.     

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Samina Amin Qadir said these events promote Awareness about human rights among masses and give a huge awareness to women to understand their rights and values in every aspect of life.

A question answer session related to women rights was held at the end of screening so that the students have an insight on women rights conditions in contemporary era.

At the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Samina Amin Qadir presented souvenir to the delegates.
