Opening Ceremony "Batik Workshop" held in Fatima Jinnah Women University with collaborating Indonesian Embassy
Rawalpindi: (19 March) the Department of Fine Arts, Fatima Jinnah Women University, is organize a two days, Batik Workshop from 19-20 March with Collaboration of Indonesian Embassy. Guests for Opening Ceremony are Mr. Deny Tri Basuki (counselor of Indonesian Embassy) Dr. Uzaira Rafique (Dean of Science and Technology) and Dr. Suriyya Choudary department incharge of Fine Arts.
In the opening ceremony, Presented program and guests introduction, then shown a documentary related to “Indonesia” and also “Batik documentary” to tell us audience about it. The purpose of this workshop is to introduced about Batik technique.
On behalf of Vice Chancellor FJWU Dr. Samina Amin Qadir, Dr. Uzaira Rafique welcomes Mr. Deny Tri Basuki, and said Fatima Jinnah women university, is the first Pakistani women university and we honored that Indonesian Embassy give us opportunity to work with them. I hope this workshop is going to be great Successful one, and in future also we arrange such type workshops which helpful for students and faculty members.
Mr. Deny Tri Basuki tells us about this workshop “ Batik workshop” how and when it started, also he thanks Vice Chancellor FJWU Dr. Samina Amin Qadir that she give Indonesian Embassy chance for this wonderful workshop.
Then at the end of opening ceremony Dr. Uzaira Rafique and Dr. Suriyya Choudary presented Souvenirs to Mr. Deny Tri Basuki .
