Pre-Qualification Notice (March 2024)

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) invites proposals from well reputed/ well-established and experienced firms for pre-qualification purpose in the following categories: -

  1. IT / Electronics equipment.
  2. Laboratory Chemicals / Glassware / Consumables
  3. Laboratory equipment.
  4. Stationery items
  5. Printing work
  6. Catering Services
  7. Electrical items including Batteries
  8. Sanitary items / Cleanliness items
  9. Repair and Maintenance of Printers
  10. General Order Suppliers
  11. Refreshment & Catering Services
  12. CCTV Cameras
  13. Refilling of Fire Extinguishers
  14. Networking Services

Terms & Conditions

  1. Firms should be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Department and must be an active tax filer.
  2. Firms must be in relevant business for at least three years.
  3. All interested firms / companies who qualify on the eligibility criteria will be considered for pre-qualification.
  4. The Pre-qualification/ registration period will be for three years or as per new directions issued by PPRA whichever is earlier.
  5. The University may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal. The University shall upon request communicate to any supplier or contractor who submitted a bid or proposal, the grounds for its rejection of all bids or proposals, but is not required to justify those grounds.
  6. Prequalification Document in Properly bound form, sealed and singed / stamped by the applicant. No loose paper will be accepted and no claim in future will be accepted. All documents must have page nos. and containing a proper index at the start of documents.
  7. Pre-qualification shall be governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules,2014.
  8. Pre-qualification documents are available on Punjab PPRA as well as university website. Detailed terms and conditions / prequalification documents can be downloaded from Punjab PPRA as well as from university website after uploading / publication of the pre-qualification notice.
  9. The application duly completed along with all requisite documents must be delivered in person or through representative or through registered acknowledgement due mail. The mailed documents, if received after due date and time, shall not be accepted.

Interested firms may collect the “Detailed Terms & Conditions” from the office of the undersigned immediately after uploading/ publication of the Notice during office hours (0800 hrs to 1600 hrs) except Saturdays and Sundays on provision of Bank Draft/ Pay Order of Rs. 1000/- in the name of Treasurer, FJWU, otherwise the proposal will be rejected. The proposals/ documents should be submitted by 1200 hours on 1st April,2024. Bids/ Proposals will not be accepted after the laid down date/ timings.
