  3. Complete set of Tender documents/ Terms & Conditions for technical bid can be obtained from the office of the undersigned immediately after uploading of the Tender during office hours (0800 hrs to 1600 hrs) except Saturdays and Sundays on payment of tender fee (Non-Refundable) in the form of Bank Draft/ Pay Order in favor of Treasurer, Fatima Jinnah Women University, The Mall Rawalpindi.
  4. The Bid Security / Earnest Money (3% of the estimated cost) shall be submitted in the form of “CDR i.e. Bank Draft, Pay Order.” in favor of Treasurer, Fatima Jinnah Women University, the Mall Rawalpindi. The bid submitted without Bid Security / Earnest Money shall be rejected being non-responsive. No Crossed Cheque/ Bank Challan/ Cash will be accepted.
  5. Firms should be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Department.
  6. The submission of tenders by the Contractor implies that they are fully conversant with the site of work, scope of work and terms and conditions laid in the tender documents.
  7. The prices should be quoted in Pak Rupees inclusive of all Government taxes / duties etc.
  8. The bidder having their offices in Rawalpindi/ Islamabad and those having experience in the relevance field shall be preferred.
  9. Conditional / Incomplete tenders or tenders received after the last date shall not be entertained. Any tender with correction / overwriting will be rejected.
  10. Tender form with detail of works (Bill of quantities) shall only be issued to the contractors on production of his original CNIC or to the authorized representatives of the firm, having valid power of the attorney in original.
  11. Any further information and clarification regarding tenders can be obtained from the office of the undersigned at the given contact number and address.
  12. The FJWU reserves the right to reject all bids/proposals or bids/proposals prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal as per PPRA Punjab rule 35, however upon bidder request the ground of rejection will be communicated to the concerned but no justification will be given as per PPRA rule 35(2).
  13. In case the date of opening or last date of sale of tender documents is declared as a public holiday by the government or non-working day due to any reason, the next official working day shall be deemed to be the date of sale, submission and opening of tenders accordingly. The time and venue shall remain the same.
