Entry/Admission requirement of the Program

1. MA/M.Sc. in Psychology/Applied Psychology/Behavioral Sciences with First division OR BS with Psychology/Applied Psychology/Behavioral Sciences from an HEC recognized University with minimum CGPA 2.5 (out of 4 in semester system).

1.  GAT with a cumulative score of 50% is required for admission.
2. Preference will be given to those candidates who have previous research experience.

Eligibility Criteria for Degree Award: To be eligible for the award of a Masters degree (MPhil)  in Psychology, students must fulfill the following milestone: 1. Course work with minimum 2.5 CGPA. 2. Research Proposal Defense is mandatory. A student must propose and present her dissertation topic to the Departmental MS/MPhil & PhD Advisory Committee, followed by approval of the Advanced Studies & Research Board through proper channel. 3. The candidacy will be awarded to the student after successful proposal defense and approval from AS&RB. The student will be considered as under supervision after this point till thesis submission in the repository. 4. The Plagiarism Test must be conducted on the dissertation by the QEC before its submission for evaluation.  Plagiarism up to 19 % is acceptable 5. Dissertation Evaluation  by one external examiner who will evaluate the thesis. The student will defend her thesis after getting a positive evaluation
