The PhD (Education) will be open to all after 18 years of education with a minimum second division in M.Phil (Education) program. All students have to clear the Higher Aptitude Test (HAT-I) for admission in PhD Education OR Clear specific written test conducted by the department.
Degree Completion Requirements  
To become eligible for the award of PhD degree in Education, a student must satisfy the following requirements:

1. The program consists of 18 credit hour of course work.
2. Students must complete all courses in the university core, general education and program-specific foundation/core/elective curriculum. The Thesis will be initiated from the 3rd semester onward.
3. A minimum of 75% attendance is requisite to get registered in the courses at all times.

HEC Credit Hours Requirement (for coursework) = 18+2 Credit Hours
