BS in Economics

Degree Level: BS Degree Title: BS Economics Attendance: Full Time Program Duration: 4 years Eligibility Criteria: The 4-year bachelor's program will be open to all with a minimum of 12 years of education and a minimum of second division in intermediate. All students have to clear NTS (NAT-I). Degree Completion Requirements (one point per line) To become eligible for the award of a BS degree in Economics, a student must satisfy the following requirements:

  1. The program consists of 124 semester credits.
  2. Students must complete all courses in the university core, general education, and program-specific foundation/core/elective curriculum. Students will pursue their summer internship after the 6th semester. The capstone project will be initiated in the 8th semester.
  3. Students shall not be permitted to opt for additional credit hours apart from their regular course load (15-18 credit hours/5-6 courses), without the special permission (depending upon the circumstances of the particular student) from the Head of Department and Dean FASS. After the approval, the student shall register for the extra credit hours.
  4. Two consecutive probations will lead to termination of registration as per university policy.
  5. A minimum of 75% attendance is required to get registered in the courses at all times.
