Bachelor of Electronic Engineering

Degree Title: Bachelor of Electronic Engineering
Attendance: Full Time
Program Duration: 4 years
Eligibility Criteria: To become eligible for the award of a BS degree in Electronic Engineering, a student must satisfy the following requirements:

1. FSc. (Pre-engineering) with mathematics, physics & chemistry.
2.  F.sc. with physics, mathematics, and computer science/computer studies (chemistry will be taught as a remedial subject /course in the first semester after admission)
3. Candidates of HSSC Pre-Medical group / equivalent qualification applying for Electronic Engineering without taking additional math exam have to clear the condensed Mathematics course of 8 x weeks offered by FJWU, prior to admission.
4. Diploma of associate engineering (Electrical/ Electronics / Telecommunication)
5. Entry Test is mandatory. NAT- 1 conducted by NTS as an Entry Test) or entry test conducted by UET combined test or HEC test through Education Testing Council (ETC).

Note: The terms and conditions as defined by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) from time to time will be applicable.

Degree Completion Requirements

1. Students must complete all courses in the university core, general education and program-specific foundation/core/elective curriculum. Students will pursue their summer internship in the 6th semester and complete their mandatory community work hours within the course of their degree. The final year project will be initiated from the 7th semester onward.
2. Students shall not be permitted to opt for additional credit hours apart from their regular course load (15-18 credit hours/5-6 courses) if they fail to maintain a CGPA of 3.5. Special permission from the Head of Department and Dean FS&T is essential, in case of registering extra credit hours, beyond the regular course load (18 credit hours), subject to sustaining a CGPA of 3.5. After the approval, the student shall register for the extra credit hours.
3. Two consecutive probations will lead to termination of registration as per university policy.
4. A minimum of 75% attendance is requisite to get registered in the courses at all times.
