To become eligible for the award of a BS degree in Environmental Sciences, a student must satisfy the following requirements:
- The program consists of 136 semester credits.
- Students must complete all courses in the university core, general education and program-specific foundation/core/elective curriculum. Students will pursue their summer internship in the 6th semester. Students will conduct their research/ thesis in 8th semester.
- Students shall not be permitted to opt for additional credit hours apart from their regular course load (15-18 credit hours/5-6 courses) if they fail to maintain a CGPA of 3.5. Special permission from the Head of Department and Dean FS&T is essential, in case of registering extra credit hours, beyond the regular course load (18 credit hours), subject to sustaining a CGPA of 3.5. After the approval, the student shall register for the extra credit hours.
- A student with GPA below 1.7 will be dropped while a GPA of 1.7-2.0 will place them on probation. Two consecutive probations will lead to termination of registration as per university policy.
- A minimum of 75% attendance is requisite to get registered in the courses at all times.
