Degree Completion Requirements (one point per line)
To become eligible for the award of a PhD degree in Environmental Sciences, a student must satisfy the following requirements:
- The program consists of 18 semester credits (for course work) with a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
- Students must complete their coursework requirements before their synopsis approval in the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) followed by pursuance of their research/ thesis from 3rd semester onward.
- A student with GPA below 1.7 will be dropped while a GPA of 1.7-2.0 will place them on probation. Two consecutive probations will lead to termination of registration as per university policy.
- A minimum of 75% attendance is requisite to get registered in the courses at all times.
