Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants seeking admission to the LL.B. program must have successfully completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), A-Levels, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC), comprising a minimum of twelve years of formal education, with at least 45% marks or its equivalent.
In addition, candidates are required to obtain a minimum score of 50% in the Law Admission Test (LAT) administered by the Education Testing Council (ETC) of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a mandatory condition for eligibility.
Degree Completion Requirements
To become eligible for the award of Bachelor of Laws (LLB) a student must satisfy the following requirements:
- Completion of all the required credit hours of the degree.
- All courses in the General Education category must be completed as prescribed by HEC Undergraduate Policy 2023 V 1.1.
- The capstone project (03 credit hours) must be completed following HEC-prescribed guidelines for the degree award. This requirement cannot be substituted with additional coursework.
- Internships of three (03) credit hours must be completed in accordance with HEC Undergraduate Education Policy V 1.1. This requirement cannot be substituted with additional coursework, capstone, research, or project work.
- CGPA must not be below 2.00/4.00 at the completion of the degree programme.
- If the GPA is below 1.7, the student will be dropped from university rolls. However, she
can seek on time re-admission during 16 years degree program.
- Those students acquiring GPA between 1.7-2.0 will be placed on probation and promoted
with the condition of achieving GPA 2.0 and above in succeeding semester.
- There shall be maximum two academic probations in 16 years degree program.
- Both the probations shall not be granted or availed in the first four semesters.
- A student who is on probation 2nd time in first four semesters shall be removed from the
rolls of the university. However, she can seek one time re-admission during 16 years
- degree program.
- 75% attendance is mandatory for appearance in final term examination.
