Advertisement for Admissions of B.Ed. / MS /M. Phil. /Ph.D. Programs Fall 2025
FJWU offers B.Ed./MS/M.Phil. / Ph.D. Programs, consistent with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria/requirements. These programs require full-time student enrollment for coursework.
For admission to MS/M.Phil. applicants are required to have:
- For Semester System:
Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 and 3.1 out of 5 in Master's / BS 4 years from any HEC-recognized university /institution.
- For Annual System:
- 1st division in Masters/BS 4 years from any HEC-recognized university/institution for all Departments except English and Urdu.
- 2nd division is acceptable for English.
- 50% marks are acceptable for Urdu.
- A minimum score of 50 in the GAT General Test conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS) is required (except where specific tests will be taken by respective Departments).
- NOC from the employer (if applicable)
N.B. Preference will be given to the students who have a research background.

For admission to Ph. D. applicants are required to have:
- Minimum CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 and 3.75 out of 5.0 (in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in M. Phil/MS/Equivalent from any HEC-recognized university.
- A minimum score of 60 in the GAT subject test conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS) is required (except where respective Departments will take subject tests). A 60% score in the case of the departmental test is also required.
- Supervisor’s Consent Letter
- NOC from the employer (if applicable).
N.B. Preference will be given to the students who have completed MS/M. Phil with Research Thesis.

Note: Classes in B.Ed. the Degree Program will not be initiated if the number of enrolled students is less than 10.
- The University is accepting online applications for the Fall Semester 2025 through the Online Admission Portal (https://onlineadmission.fjwu.edu.pk/). Therefore, during the application process, candidates must upload electronic copies of their documents. There is no requirement to send hard copies of the documents/receipts.
- Once the candidate enters all her information and uploads the required documents on the portal, she can apply in programs. After applying to programs, the application processing fee (non-refundable) can be paid via any online banking app using kuickpay only. The fee paid through any other means will not be acceptable. The application will not be accepted/processed without this fee payment within the due date.
- Application processing fee (non-refundable) for B.Ed/ MS/ M.Phil./Ph.D. Programs will be Rs. 1200/- per Degree Program /option. Candidates desiring to apply for more options have to pay another Rs. 1200/- and so on and so forth. A single challan shall be generated, whatever the case.
- Candidates awaiting results must submit their online applications by the due date. Results declared after the submission of the online application can only be entered in the portal by the candidate herself by the notified date on our website.
- Any kind of tampering with documents will lead to permanent disqualification.
- Candidates having any foreign degrees/diplomas/ results in the form of GPA/Grade points are required to upload an equivalence certificate stating the percentage/marks.
- All admissions will be granted provisionally and will be subject to finalization/confirmation only after submission of SSC and HSSC certificates by the candidates, duly attested by IBCC, within 02 weeks of admission.
- All information / Admission Updates, interview Lists /Merit Lists will be displayed on the University website. No letters/calls/messages would be sent for admission offers/commencement of classes, etc.
- All information regarding the Entry Test (if any), Interviews (if any), and Merit Lists will be displayed on the website Schedule for displaying the list for Departmental Specific written test (where applicable) / Interviews / Merit Lists will be available on our website in the 3rd week of August 2025.
- At least 50 % marks in an interview (if applicable) would be required to be considered for the Merit List.
- An open house for the information of candidates and their parents will be held on August 05, 2025, in the Main Campus and on August 07, 2025, in Campus II on Chakri Road. The details will be available on our website in the first week of August.
- Different scholarships for deserving students, on-campus hostel facilities, and transport are also available.
