Eligibility Criteria

Qualification for appointment:

  1. A Senior Legal Advisor shall be an advocate of Supreme Court of Pakistan having at least twenty years active practice at the Bar.
  2. A Legal Advisor shall be an advocate of High Court, actively practicing as advocate for a period of not less than five years immediately before the last date fixed for the receipt of applications.

Remuneration:

    1. Legal advisors shall be paid such remuneration as the Government may fix by general or special order.
    2. The remuneration shall be fixed on monthly retainership fee or salary and shall not be paid on case to case basis.

Tenure: Legal advisors shall be appointed for two years, and subject to the procedure given in the above instructions, shall be eligible for reappointment.

CONDITIONS (How to Apply):

  1. Interested Applicants are required to apply online through University website i.e. careers.fjwu.edu.pk and MUST also submit the hard copy of the application form along with required documents.
  2. Only Punjab Domicile holder candidates can apply against the advertised post.
  3. One Set of application with (i) complete bio-data and attested documents including degree, certificates, transcripts, CV and experience certificates, (ii) CNIC, (iii) Domicile, (iv) NOC (if applicable) (v) 2-recent photographs, (v) original receipt of paid challan should reach the office of the Registrar by the due date i.e December 01, 2025.
  4. Processing fee of Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) to be paid via any online banking app using kuickpay on or before December 01, 2025
  5. Degree only from HEC recognized university / degree awarding institutions will be considered.
  6. Must provide Punjab Bar Council Enrollment Certificate of District Court/ High Court/ Supreme Court along with Active Practice Certificate from the Concerned Bar Associations: District Court, High Court, Supreme Court
  7. Applicants already working in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel by due date and submit updated service certificates issued by their present employer; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained. However, the University may entertain advance copies.
  8. If the candidate who has applied after taking NOC from his parent department / institution / university and got selected in any other department / institution / university during the process of selection, he/she would be required to send immediately an NOC from the new employer, failing which the application will be rejected ab-initio.
  9. Must provide the No inquiry / audit pending certificate from current organization / institution, and from previous employer / organization (if currently left the previous job).
  10. Applications with incomplete documents and received after due date shall not be entertained by any means.
  11. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. (Decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases). No TA/DA will be paid for interviews.
  12. The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of courier service/post office/ telephone message.
  13. The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, not to fill any post, and/or withhold/withdraw the appointment against any advertised post.
  14. In case any information provided by the candidate in his/her application form is found to be incorrect or false at any stage, he / she shall be disqualified ab-initio and action will be taken as per rules.
  15. Applications will NOT be processed if:
    1. Both online and hard copies are not submitted by due date.
    2. Documents are incomplete.
    3. Fee is not submitted.
  16. Last Date for Submission of Applications:

Application on prescribed form complete in all respects should reach the Registrar Office by December 1, 2025.
