FJWU Held Seminar on Islamic Practice and Law

Rawalpindi – Fatima Jinnah Women University, courses coordinator office held a seminar on “Islamic Practice and Law”. Law Professor and author Shaheen Sardar Ali was resource person she said Islam aspires to the highest level of behavior at the individual, family and community levels. The Prophet brought different rules in order to accommodate the culture of each nation and tribe. Also said Islam is a complete package, message and way of life. This way of life covers three essential needs of human life physical, intellectual and spirit. Three aspects of the faith are Islam is divine law, Imam is our belief and Ihsan are ethics and moral character, we don’t have to combine Islamic law and Shari’ah together because these two are different things. 

Prof. Dr. Azra Yasmin, Faculty members from MPA, MBA, Law & Commerce, and Islamic department attended the seminar.

At the end Prof. Dr. Azra Yasmin presented souvenir to Shaheen Sardar Ali.
