Tender Notice for Renting out of Vacant Space for Provision of Cafeteria Services at fjwu university Campus II

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi invites E-Bids from well-established economically sound parties for renting out of vacant space for provision of cafeteria services at the University Campus II. Available space is tentatively - 150 ft x 30 ft; total 4500 sqft (16.54 marla).
Contractor has to provide following:

  1. 1 x hall for students (seating capacity at least 250)
  2. 1 x hall for staff and faculty (seating capacity at least 50)
  3. Kitchen space & storage etc.

Adequate portable structure fulfilling the above requirements. Completely on the cost of the Contractor and he/she shall remove and take away all the installations and return the leveled / clear land to the university at the end of the contract.

Terms & Conditions

  1. All interested E-Bidders should be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Department and must be an active tax filer.
  2. E-Bidding Firms should be in business of catering / cafeteria services for at least 5 years at University/ College / Corporate level serving at least 3000 customers daily.
  3. The University may reject all E-Bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a E-Bid or proposal. The University shall upon request communicate to any E-Bidder who submitted a E-Bid or proposal, the ground for its rejection of proposals, but is not required to justify those grounds.
  4. Five percent (5%) of the estimated annual rent as mentioned below of the annual contract must be accompanied with the E-Bid as earnest money (refundable to the unsuccessful E-Bidders) in the form of Demand Draft / Pay Order / Call Deposit Receipt in favor of Treasurer Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. E-Bid(s) without earnest money will not be considered. E-Bids with LESS earnest money will not be entertained. No Crossed-Cheque / Bank Challan / Cash or any other instrument other than Demand Draft / Pay Order / Call Deposit will be accepted.
  5. Estimated Annual Rent Rs. 720,000/-            Bid Security @5%=Rs. 36,000/-

  6. Pre-E-Bid meeting will be held at University Campus-II (Chakri) 13th January,2025 at 11:00 a.m.
  7. PLEASE ATTACH SOFT COPY OF E-BID SECURITY ALONG-WITH THE TECHNICAL E-BID / PROPOSAL AND ORIGINAL E-BID SECURITY TO BE SUBMITTED IN THE UNIVERSITY PURCHASE OFFICE BEFORE TENDER OPENING DATE AND TIME.
  8. Offer received by any other means other than E-PADS, received through mail / courier / by hand before the expiry of submission time will be rejected.
  9. Tender Documents are available on EPAD (Punjab)/Punjab PPRA as well as on university website.

The E-Bidder shall download the E-Bidding documents from website and participate in the procurement process without paying any tender fee.

E-Bidding Procedure

  1. The E-Bid(s) will comprise of a “single package containing two envelopes”.
  2. Interested parties may submit their E-Bids between 0800 hours to 1100 hours on 23rd January,2025. The E-Bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 Hours. No bid will be received after 1100 hours.
