3rd Annual Student Support Services Summit
July 08-11, 2024The 3rd Annual Student Support Services Summit was held at PC Bhurbhan from July 08-11, 2024, under the auspices of USAID HESSA, led by the University of Utah, University of Alabama, and Institute of International Education. This year's summit focused on integrating soft skills across all student support services.
Prof. Dr. Bushra Yasmin, attended the Executive Leadership: Student Affairs component as Institutional Lead. Other component leads in attendance included Dr. Sajida Naz (Mental Health), Ms. Tasneem Ilyas (Student Microenterprise Development), Dr. Shaheen Begum (Student Leadership & Programming), Ms. Saira Bano (Financial Aid: Fundraising and Scholarship Management), and Ms. Humera Sadia (Career Services, Alumni Development & Engagement).

Meeting of the Strategic Committee for Developing /Drafting FJWU Strategic Plan
Meeting of the Strategic Committee for Developing/Drafting FJWU Strategic Plan held today i.e. November 21, 2023, which emphasized the vital need for collaboration among Academic and Administrative Departments. It was agreed that each department would actively participate by submitting their Vision, Mission, and Challenges to the Committee, for initiating the development process of the document.
A meeting of the core team of strategic planning under HESSA project held on Oct 31, 2023 in the office of the Vice Chancellor to share feedback and further action is required to initiate working on university strategic document.
In the meeting the committee reviewed the team members and decided to start develop the planning calender to ensure the execution of the systematic working.
