FJWU Organized a Talk Show on Bullying Builds Character

RAWALPINDI- Fatima Jinnah Women University, Character Building Society of Communication and Media Studies Department organized a talk show on "Bullying Builds Character". Director Anti-Corruption and Establishment, Pakistan Administrative Services, Rawalpindi Region, Ms. Kanwal Batool was the Guest of Honor on the event. Ms. Saba Munir, Focal Person of Character Building Society from the Department of Communication and Media Studies organized this event.

The slogan of the talk show was “Let’s Combat Bullying and Corruption”. Different departments participated in the discussion. The involved departments were the Departments of ‘Computer Arts’, ‘Communication & Media Studies’, ‘Behavioral Sciences’ and ‘Islamic Studies’. The Communication and Media Studies Department Incharge, Dr. Ahlam Tariq gave the welcome address. The Chief Guest Ms. Kanwal Batool stressed on the importance of having a bullying and corruption proof environment in the academic institutions. The talk show was organized for the awareness of students. The talk show panelists highlighted multiple aspect of bullying in the light of their own experiences. The panelists asserted not to endure unfair attitudes as the more a person keeps silence the more he/she has to face it, and the more this evil expands.

Dr. Sarwet Rasul gave the closing address and presented a souvenir to the Guest of Honor.
