Tender Notice for Hiring of Individual Consultant for Electrification Works

Electrification works
(Under PPRA Punjab Rule 46. Selection process of individual consultant)
Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi invites applications from qualified and experienced individual consultants for the provision of consultancy services for:

    1. Assessment, planning, and supervision of electrical works
    2. Preparation and vetting of technical designs, BOQs, and specifications
    3. Monitoring of project execution and ensuring compliance with approved standards
    4. Certification of work progress and quality assurance
    5. Providing technical advice to the University Management
    6. Any other task assigned from time to time
  1. Eligibility Criteria:
    1. A relevant Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from HEC recognized institution
    2. Valid registration as Professional Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
    3. At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, along with proven experience of service / providing consultancy for public sector development projects / repair & maintenance works.
  2. Selection Process:
    1. Interested individuals shall be required to submit updated CV along with attested copies of educational and professional certificates, experience certificates etc
    2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews
    3. Final selection will be based on qualifications, relevant experience, and interview performance.
  3. Remuneration & Duration:
  4. A fixed monthly remuneration ranging from Rs. 150,000 to Rs. 200,000 (Rupees One Hundred Fifty Thousand to Two Hundred Thousand only) shall be paid.
  5. The initial contract duration shall be for a period of 2–3 months, which may be extended further with the mutual consent of both parties.
  6. General Instructions:
    1. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
    2. FJWU reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason
    3. Engagement of consultant will be purely on contractual basis
    4. Applications must reach the office of the undersigned within 15 days of publication of this notice.
