Tender Notice for Renting out of University Shop at FJWU Campus-I (May-2026)

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi is desirous to rent out its shop which are located within the University Premises at campus-I. FJWU invites sealed bids for renting / leasing out its following shops:

 Terms & Conditions

  1. All interested bidders should be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Department and must be an active tax filer.
  2. The interested bidders must be economically sound and experienced.
  3. The University may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal. The University shall upon request communicate to any bidder who submitted a bid or proposal, the ground for its rejection of proposals, but is not required to justify those grounds.
  4. A pre bid meeting will be held on 12th May 2026 at 11:30 Hours at Purchase Office. All interested parties are advised to attend the pre bid meeting. No objection(s) queries will be entertained after the pre bid meeting.
  5. Bidder should not have been black listed and debarred by procuring agency and PPRA. An affidavit in this regard will be submitted by the bidder.
  6. Five percent (5%) of the estimated annual rent (as mentioned below) must be accompanied with the bid separately as earnest money (refundable to the unsuccessful bidders) in the form of Demand Draft / Pay Order / Call Deposit Receipt in favor of Treasurer Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. Bid(s) without earnest money will not be considered. Bids with LESS earnest money will not be entertained. No Crossed-Cheque / Bank Challan / Cash or any other instrument other than Demand Draft / Pay Order / Call Deposit will be accepted. University FTN is 9020016-0.

    Minimum Annual Rent of the shop is as follows:

    1.      Printing and composing shop

    Rs.2,276,496/-

    Bid Security @ 5% Rs. 113,825/-

Evaluation Criteria:

1) Evaluation shall be done as per rule 38-A of PPRA rules 2014. Technically complied and highest evaluated Bid will be accepted.
Interested parties may drop their bids in the office of the Undersigned(Purchase Office) between 0800 hours to 1100 hours on 21st May, 2026. The bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 Hours. Time and date are also applicable on bids received through courier services. No bid will be received after 1100 hours. In case of any official or local holiday, falling on the last date for submission of the bids, the next working day will automatically be the date for opening of the bids.
