Creating an Inclusive Society in the Light of Seerat un Nabi

Date: 12-10-2021 Venue: New Auditorium Day: Tuesday Conference Coordinator: Dr Shahzadi Pakeeza Conference Co-Coordinator: Dr Aftab Alam and Ms. Hafsah Ayaz Qureshi

An inclusive society is a society that over-rides differences of race, gender, class, generation, and geography, and ensures inclusion, equality of opportunity as well as capability of all members of the society to determine an agreed set of social institutions that govern social interaction. This was the message of the Holy Prophet to build an inclusive society based on respect for all human rights and fundamental freedom, cultural and religious diversity, social justice and the special needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. The conference will address these issues to achieve social integration and social inclusion of all members of society with different backgrounds and a stake in their shared society. This inclusiveness of society will create and maintains stability as well as a readiness to embrace change when necessary in the light of Prophetic Sunnah.
