Policy for Students with Special Needs
Permission of Writer
In case a student s a physical disability or is visually impaired, she may apply to the Chairperson of the respective department (with medical certificate as proof of her disability) for permission to engage a writer in the University Examinations two weeks before the start of Examinations.
The qualification of the writer must be at least one step lower than that of the student. (e.g. for MPhil level student, the writer should be Bachelors at the most)
Examinations and Assessment
At the commencement of each course appropriate arrangements for examination and assessment will be determined through mutual consultation between faculty, focal person of Accessibility committee and the student.
Students with special needs will be allowed 45 minutes (maximum) extra time to solve the question paper.
